Many homes have Alexa (or Echo or Siri or Google voice commands) helping out around the house with voice commands, and this cloud-based assistance has taken hold here in the US.

And now car manufacturers are offering to this voice activated technology in vehicles as well.

When is too much too much?

Jill Merriam, CT’s favorite new and used car dealership Key Cars of Connecticut, is not sure how she feels about this.

Actually, she’s quite sure, but wants to know what you think.

Listen to Jill’s Nicer, Newer News video where she shares what the auto industry is doing with these devices in cars, why it makes her slightly uncomfortable as this rolls out in the auto world.

Are you okay with people listening in when you’re driving to work, school, or errands around town? Do you think this is an invasion of privacy or no big deal?

We’d love to know your thoughts; email them to wecare@keycars.com and let us know what you think!

Until next time, happy driving – and enjoy your privacy!
