Video 22 00m 12sThis week J.D Power and Associates released their Initial Quality Study and Hyundai ranked the highest of non-premium brands and ranked fourth overall among all brands. Hyundai came in fourth place after Lexus, Cadillac and Porsche. The Initial Quality Survey is based on information about the quality of the vehicle after 90 days of ownership and this includes both Hyundai owners and lessees. “Outperforming all of our competitors once again is a reflection of the dedication of all Hyundai team members,” said Hyundai’s CEO John Krafcik. This year there has been a decline in car sales and some automakers took a bigger hit then others. Hannah Elliott’s article Year of the Hyundai, states, “With the American auto industry in shambles, Hyundai has stood out as one of the few automakers to remain stable as of late.” Hyundai can attribute their stability to a few different reasons. Hyundai is dedicated to providing consumer’s reliability and quality at an affordable price. There was also the introduction of Hyundai Assurance which allows you to turn you vehicle back into Key Hyundai of Manchester or Key Hyundai of Milford if you loose your job within 12 months of purchasing your Hyundai. If you purchase a Hyundai you also receive America’s best warranty which provides a ten year/ 100,000 mile power train warranty. Along with ranking in the top four of the Initial Quality Study, Hyundai’s Elantra and Accent were placed high on the list. Hyundai Accent’s came in second in the subcompact category and the Hyundai Elantra ranked higher then the Toyota Prius in the compact car division.
