How did Jill Merriam become the Dealer For The People? It sounds like a stretch, but believe it or not, it all started at Microsoft.
Yes, that Microsoft.
Jill Merriam, half of the brother-sister partnership who run Key Cars of Connecticut, began her career in finance at Microsoft, before thinking long and hard about her family-run business back home. Before long, her brother Jeff partners with Jill to become third-generation business owners, and manage to not just stay afloat, but remain very successful for all these years. This is not a fluke, but a family heritage that goes way back.
In this Nicer, Newer News video, Jill shares the Key Cars history – exactly why and how we are an American success story. It’s a little longer than usual – she had to squeeze in her Grandpa Sam, because he’s the foundation of how Key Cars developed the company mission, and live it every day.
Take a listen:
Providing solutions is what Grandpa Sam did, what Jeff and Jill do, and what the Key Cars team strives for every day.
We’re proud to be third-generation business owners, and prouder to employ over 100 CT residents who live by our mission: to be solution providers and never product pushers, to help everyone who wants to drive a nicer, newer car, and to keep your car safe to drive for as long as you wish to drive it.
